Since completing the course, Charlotte has started her own beauty academy, teaching the next wave of lash and brow artists and building a community of empowered women who are ready to step into the industry with confidence. At just 19, she’s proof that age doesn’t define your ability to lead, inspire, and create opportunities- not just for yourself, but for others too.

I am actually a twin! That was always such an exciting thing growing up. Always having my twin sister by my side.
I have a beautiful fur baby who I adore! Her name is Bobo. She is a Rottweiler x Kelpie. 🐶
Life before lashing:
Before becoming a lash tech I was working full time as a barista. Working long hours on minimum wage working my butt off and still being treated terribly.
When did you decide to enter the beauty industry?
In 2023 I decided to a lash course which I successfully completed and become a qualified lash tech.
You took the step & decided to become a Beauty Trainer. How did you know you were ready to take the next step in your career?
After 2 years of lashing I decided to look into doing a beauty educators course so that I could start training others and sharing my passion for lashing!
I just love teaching people and helping people online and helping guide newbies through their lash journey. With that said, I thought why not start up my own education academy! I really love helping people feel confident in what they are doing!
We LOVE that you’re just 19. There are many ladies who are too scared to take the leap. What would you say to them?
To the ladies who are too scared to take the leap… Taking the leap to better your future is hard. But so is doing nothing. Life will always be hard, you just have to choose your hard.
Starting your lash business is hard, but so is feeling stuck in a 9–5 you don’t love. Getting out of bed and showing up for yourself is hard, but so is feeling helpless and unfulfilled.
Going to the gym and staying disciplined is hard, but so is being unhealthy and unmotivated. The truth is, you get to decide which hard is going to build the life you want.
Why did you decide to train with Locks Lash?
I chose to train with Locks Lash as I had heard so many great things about their Beauty Educator Course.
Tell us about your experience training with Locks Lash:
The staff were so understanding and helpful with any questions I had! All the staff at Locks Lash were absolutely amazing!
Derik was the main person I saw when doing the course and was so helpful. Bubblz was one of the main people I spoke to with any questions or concerns I had throughout the entire process. She made me feel so welcome and I knew from day #1 that she had my back, and was here to help!
What was your favourite thing about the course?
My favourite thing about the course was designing my lash manual and being completely confident knowing I had professionals on the other end guiding me through everything!
Would you recommend this course?
I would definitely recommend Locks Lash to other lash techs who are wanting to expand from just being a lash tech and become a lash educator!
Since completing my Beauty Educators Course I have started taking on students and I have absolutely loved every minute of it! I have been wanting to teach for a while now and I love that my course is amazing thanks to the help from the Locks Lash Team!
I cannot wait to keep growing and improving as I train more and more people.
What courses do you now offer?
I currently offer a 1:1 in-person Classic & Pre-made Volume Eyelash Extension Course. My course goes for 2 full days but is flexible to suit each person's needs. For example I had a single mumma come do 3 half days instead of 2 full days to be there for her baby.
I am also in the process of designing a Lash Lift and Tint course and a Teeth Whitening Course.
How much do you charge for your course?
I charge $1250 for my course, which includes a full training kit.
