We’re Hiring a Trainer!
Locks Lash and Learn About Beauty (LAB) are hiring a new trainer to be part of our awesome team.
You need to have all of the following;
- Cert 4 in Beauty
- Min 3 years experience in delivering beauty services including lash extensions & brows
- Have a bit of guts and want more out of life than what it is currently delivering
- A professional ability to communicate in writing
- A clean professional manner & presentation
- Does not mind being on camera for courses and for social media
- Can manage a team
If you additionally have the following, it’s an added bonus but not a necessity;
- Live in Melbourne
- Had experience running your own salon (home or High St) and / or working in a salon
- Have done our Beauty Trainer course
- Cert 4 in Training & Assessment (if you don’t already have this, we can help you get it)
We are flexible if this is a remote position, so anywhere in the country (including NZ) can apply. However, ideally you would come into our office in Melbourne.
The position is full time, Mon-Fri 8:45am to 5pm.
However we can also look at people who would like to do it part time.

Your duties will include (but not excluding);
- Provide high-quality online support to students via written responses, video feedback, and messaging.
- Review student submissions (photos, videos, case studies) with professional, constructive critique.
- Answer technical questions related to lash extensions, brow lamination, waxing, tinting, spray tanning, advanced lash styling, and other beauty treatments (training provided for areas outside your experience).
- Help students troubleshoot technique, product handling, hygiene, safety, and client outcomes.
- Maintain a friendly but professional teaching tone that reflects evidence-based best practices.
- Contribute to course improvements, FAQs, and training materials (optional but valued).
- Occasionally film short demonstration videos or explanations (smartphone quality is fine).
